EMDR is an eight-phase therapeutic process that targets specific incident memories. By first targeting internal associations that arise from the specific memory and disturbing feelings, the meaning of those painful events are transformed on an emotional level. Making the natural outcome of thoughts, feelings and behaviors robust indicators of emotional health and resolution—all without speaking in detail or doing homework.

Derived from the Sanskrit word “yuji,” meaning yoke or union, yoga is an ancient practice that brings together mind and body. It incorporates breathing exercises, meditation and poses designed to encourage relaxation and reduce stress. Numerous practices fall into category of yoga, and most do not involve physical activity, instead focusing on meditation techniques. Even karmic or philanthropic action can qualify as yoga!

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a healing modality that works directly with energy blockages. It is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. Instead of using needles or pressure points, Reiki works with our chakras and meridians using light touch or no contact. Reiki complements, but does not replace, traditional Western medical treatments. Reiki aids in shortening healing time, reducing and eliminating pain, reducing stress, and helps create optimism.
